Minnesota High School Basketball - Grand Rapids overwhelmed by North Branch
February 11, 2023: North Branch, MN 55056 The Grand Rapids Thunderhawks basketball team (Grand Rapids, MN), was overwhelmed 74-53 in Saturday's league battle with the host North Branch Vikings (North Branch, MN)
The Vikings now possess a 13-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Becker for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 14. North Branch will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 80-59 non-league loss to Sauk Rapids-Rice (Sauk Rapids, MN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-12.
The Thunderhawks (3-14) will now prepare for their battle against Hermantown (Hermantown, MN). The Hawks come into the AAA Section 7 battle with a 15-7 record. In their last battle, Hermantown was overwhelmed by Benilde-St. Margaret's (St. Louis Park, MN), 78-72, in a non-league battle.
