Wisconsin High School Basketball - Xavier nips Green Bay Preble
February 11, 2023: Appleton, WI 54914 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Xavier Hawks (Appleton, WI) and the visiting Green Bay Preble Hornets (Green Bay, WI), saw Xavier's basketball squad hold off Green Bay Preble by a count of 71-68.
With the victory, Xavier upgrades its record to 21-2 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Green Bay East (Green Bay, WI) to play the Red Devils in a Bay challenge on Friday, February 17. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a record of 3-18.
Next up, the Hornets play the Bay Port Pirates (Green Bay, WI) in a Fox River Classic challenge, on Tuesday, February 14. Green Bay Preble will attempt to upgrade on its 5-16 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 15-6 record after their 76-63 league win over Notre Dame Academy (Green Bay, WI).
