Missouri High School Basketball - Lafayette succumbs to Hickman
February 11, 2023: St. Joseph, MO 64505 The Hickman Kewpies topped the host Lafayette Fighting Irish basketball team by a final score of 84-65 in Saturday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Kewpies face the Rock Bridge Bruins (Columbia, MO) in a Central Missouri game, on Tuesday, February 14. Hickman will attempt to move on its 15-6 season record. The Bruins enter the game with a 16-6 record after their 63-59 non-league loss to New Madrid County Central (New Madrid, MO).
With the defeat, Lafayette moves to 13-6 on the year. The Fighting irish host St. Pius X (Kansas City, MO) to face the Warriors in a Midland Empire game on Friday, February 17. The Warriors enter the game with a record of 1-14.
