The The Vanguard School Coursers basketball team scored 83 points and held the host James Irwin Jaguars to 58 in the Coursers league triumph on Saturday.

The Coursers now sport a 15-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Mary's for a 4A/3A Tri-Peaks contest on Monday, February 13. The Vanguard School will battle a Pirates team coming off a 88-52 league loss to Ellicott (Calhan, CO). The Pirates record now stands at 7-10.

The Jaguars (5-15) will now prepare for their contest against La Junta (La Junta, CO). The Tigers enter the 4A/3A Tri-Peaks contest with a 5-15 record. In their last contest, La Junta was routed by Colorado Springs Christian (Colorado Springs, CO), 74-48, in a league contest.
