Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Anderson County Bearcats (Lawrenceburg, KY) and the host Grant County Braves (Dry Ridge, KY), saw Anderson County's basketball squad hold off Grant County by a tally of 59-54.

With the victory, Anderson County improves its record to 22-6 on the campaign. The Bearcats travel to Assumption (Louisville, KY) to play the Rockets in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 14. The Rockets come into the challenge with a record of 18-8. Assumption lost 64-61 in their recent non-league challenge against Butler (Louisville, KY)

Next up, the Braves play the Owen County Rebels (Owenton, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, February 15. Grant County will attempt to improve on its 16-10 season record. The Rebels come into the challenge with a 16-9 record after their 49-38 non-league loss to South Oldham (Crestwood, KY).
