Cedar Catholic Trojans (Hartington, NE) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Elkhorn Valley Falcons (Tilden, NE), 57-33 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Cedar Catholic advances its record to 16-6 on the year. The Trojans travel to Battle Creek (Battle Creek, NE) to face the Braves in a C1 District 8 match on Thursday, February 13. The Braves enter the match with a record of 10-11. Battle Creek lost 76-44 in their recent non-league match against Norfolk Catholic (Norfolk, NE)

The Falcons now own a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pierce for a non-league match on Saturday, February 15. Elkhorn Valley will face a Bluejays squad coming off a 59-43 non-league win over Guardian Angels Central Catholic (West Point, NE). The Bluejays record now stands at 8-13.
