Corvian Community Cardinals (Charlotte, NC) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Pine Lake Prep Pride (Mooresville, NC), 73-49 in a league match.

With the victory, Corvian Community advances its record to 16-6 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Bradford Prep (Charlotte, NC) to meet the Bears in a 1A/2A Catawba Shores match on Thursday, February 13. The Bears enter the match with a record of 13-11. Bradford Prep won 60-51 in their recent league match against Mountain Island Charter (Mt. Holly, NC)

The Pride now own a 17-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Community School of Davidson for a 1A/2A Catawba Shores match on Friday, February 14. Pine Lake Prep will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 79-39 league win over Langtree Charter Academy (Mooresville, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 13-10.
