The East Marion Eagles basketball team scored 59 points and limited the visiting Leland Cubs to 58 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Eagles now possess a 13-9 record. They play next when they travel to Taylorsville for a non-league game on Saturday, February 15. East Marion will confront a Tartars team coming off a 71-67 non-league win over McAdams (McAdams, MS). The Tartars record now stands at 14-14.

With the loss, Leland falls to 4-20 on the campaign.
