South Dakota High School Basketball - Groton overwhelms Leola/Frederick
February 11, 2025: Groton, SD 57445 The Groton Tigers basketball team scored 92 points and limited the visiting Leola/Frederick Titans to 65 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Tigers now have a 11-5 record. They play next when they travel to Mobridge-Pollock for a non-league game on Saturday, February 15. Groton will confront a Tigers team coming off a 75-59 non-league win over Sully Buttes (Onida, SD). The Tigers record now stands at 11-5.
With the loss, Leola/Frederick falls to 16-4 on the campaign. The Titans host Webster (Webster, SD) to confront the Bearcats in a non-league game on Saturday, February 15. The Bearcats go into the game with a record of 4-12. Webster lost 66-55 in their recent non-league game against Northwestern Area (Mellette, SD)
