Connecticut High School Basketball - Haddam-Killingworth can't hold off Valley Regional
February 11, 2025: Higganum, CT 06441 Valley Regional Warriors (Deep River, CT) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Haddam-Killingworth Cougars (Higganum, CT), 59-55 in a league match.
With the victory, Valley Regional advances its record to 7-12 on the year. The Warriors host East Windsor (East Windsor, CT) to face the Panthers in a non-league match on Friday, February 14. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 3-8. East Windsor lost 74-53 in their recent non-league match against Tourtellotte (North Grosvenordale, CT)
The Cougars now own a 9-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ellington for a non-league match on Wednesday, February 12. Haddam-Killingworth will face a Knights squad coming off a 57-39 non-league win over Wheeler (North Stonington, CT). The Knights record now stands at 16-0.
