North Carolina High School Basketball - Midway thwarts Red Springs
February 11, 2025: Red Springs, NC 28377 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Midway Raiders (Dunn, NC) and the host Red Springs Red Devils (Red Springs, NC), observed Midway's basketball team knock off Red Springs by a score of 56-46.
The Raiders (14-5) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Pauls (St. Pauls, NC). The Bulldogs come into the 2A Southeastern challenge with a 6-15 record. In their last challenge, St. Pauls prevailed over Clinton (Clinton, NC), 83-63, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Red Devils encounter the West Bladen Knights (Bladenboro, NC) in a 2A Southeastern challenge, on Friday, February 14. Red Springs will attempt to improve on its 1-20 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 22-1 record after their 60-18 non-league win over East Bladen (Elizabethtown, NC).
