New York High School Basketball - St. Joseph-by-the-Sea bests Monsignor Farrell
February 11, 2025: Staten Island, NY 10312 The St. Joseph-by-the-Sea Vikings basketball team scored 49 points and limited the visiting Monsignor Farrell Lions to 37 in the Vikings league triumph on Tuesday.
The Vikings now possess a 14-8 record. They play next when they host New Dorp for a non-league game on Wednesday, February 19. St. Joseph-by-the-Sea will confront a Central Cougars team coming off a 71-50 non-league loss to Moore Catholic (Staten Island, NY). The Central Cougars record now stands at 9-7.
With the loss, Monsignor Farrell falls to 7-14 on the campaign. The Lions travel to McKee Vo-Tech (Staten Island, NY) to confront the Seagulls in a non-league game on Saturday, February 15. The Seagulls go into the game with a record of 9-6. McKee Vo-Tech lost 67-53 in their recent non-league game against Percy Sutton (New York, NY)
