The Nucla Mustangs basketball squad (Nucla, CO), was nudged 51-48 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Ridgway Demons (Ridgway, CO)

With the victory, Ridgway advances its record to 9-8 on the year. The Demons host Ouray (Ouray, CO) to meet the Trojans in a 3A/2A/1A San Juan battle on Thursday, February 13. The Trojans enter the battle with a record of 10-9. Ouray won 64-50 in their recent non-league battle against Olathe (Olathe, CO)

The Mustangs now own a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dolores for a 3A/2A/1A San Juan battle on Tuesday, February 18.
