Illinois High School Basketball - West Aurora sneaks past DeKalb
February 11, 2025: Aurora, IL 60506 The West Aurora Blackhawks (Aurora, IL) basketball edged the visiting DeKalb Barbs (DeKalb, IL), 63-59 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Blackhawks now possess a 16-1 record. They play next when they travel to Kaneland for a non-league bout on Thursday, February 13. West Aurora will play a Knights team coming off a 58-46 non-league loss to Rochelle (Rochelle, IL). The Knights record now stands at 2-3.
With the loss, DeKalb falls to 3-2 on the campaign. The Barbs travel to Neuqua Valley (Naperville, IL) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Friday, February 14. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 1-3. Neuqua Valley won 47-42 in their recent league bout against Naperville Central (Naperville, IL)
