February 11, 2025: Northwood, ND 58240 The Hatton/Northwood Thunder (Northwood, ND) basketball edged the visiting Maple River Eagles (Mapleton, MN), 72-68 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Thunder now possess a 17-4 record. They play next when they host Nelson County co-op [Lakota/Dakota Prairie] for a B District 4 bout on Friday, February 14. Hatton/Northwood will play a team coming off a 58-53 league loss to Griggs County Central/Midkota (Cooperstown, ND). The record now stands at 11-11.
With the loss, Maple River falls to 20-20 on the campaign. The Eagles host Hankinson (Hankinson, ND) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Friday, February 14. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 4-13. Hankinson won 62-22 in their recent league bout against Barnes County North co-op [North Central/Wimbledon-Courtenay] (Rogers, ND)
