With the victory, Taylorville advances its record to 16-4 on the year. The Tornadoes host Sacred Heart-Griffin (Springfield, IL) to meet the Cyclones in a non-league battle on Thursday, February 13. The Cyclones enter the battle with a record of 1-1. Sacred Heart-Griffin won 61-38 in their recent non-league test against Riverton (Riverton, IL)
The Braves (0-3) will now prepare for their test against Effingham (Effingham, IL). The Hearts come into the test with a 18-4 record. In their last test, Effingham bounced Charleston (Charleston, IL), 50-11, in a league test.
