Kentucky High School Basketball - Montgomery County overwhelmed by Boyd County
February 12, 2022: Ashland, KY 41102 The Montgomery County Indians basketball team (Mt. Sterling, KY), was overwhelmed 70-45 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Boyd County Lions (Ashland, KY)
The Lions now possess a 18-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Johnson Central for a non-league battle on Monday, February 14. Boyd County will battle a Golden Eagles team coming off a 59-57 league win over Magoffin County (Salyersville, KY). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 14-8.
The Indians (9-15) will now prepare for their battle against East Jessamine (Nicholasville, KY). The Jaguars come into the non-league battle with a 4-23 record. In their last battle, East Jessamine was overwhelmed by Boyle County (Danville, KY), 68-45, in a non-league battle.
