February 12, 2022: Great Barrington, MA 01230 In Saturday's non-league outing, the Monument Mountain Spartans (Great Barrington, MA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Brattleboro Colonels (Brattleboro, VT), by a count of 69-45.
The Spartans (12-4) will now prepare for their outing against Monson (Monson, MA). The Mustangs go into the non-league outing with a 2-14 record. In their last outing, Monson was crushed by Ware (Ware, MA), 53-35, in a league outing.
The Colonels now hold a 7-9 record. They play next when they travel to Rutland for a Marble Valley - A outing on Tuesday, February 15. Brattleboro will clash with a Raiders squad coming off a 55-35 non-league loss to St. Johnsbury Academy (St. Johnsbury, VT). The Raiders record now stands at 10-4.
