Illinois High School Basketball - Galatia ripped by Johnston City
February 12, 2022: Johnston City, IL 62951 The Johnston City Indians basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Galatia Bearcats to 19 in the Indians non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Indians now sport a 9-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Trico for a Black Diamond - West contest on Monday, February 14. Johnston City will battle a Pioneers team coming off a 60-29 non-league loss to Chester (Chester, IL). The Pioneers record now stands at 7-22.
The Bearcats (5-15) will now prepare for their contest against Thompsonville (Thompsonville, IL). The enter the Greater Egyptian contest with a 11-16 record. In their last contest, Thompsonville triumphed over Joppa-Maple Grove (Joppa, IL), 66-41, in a non-league contest.
