February 12, 2022: Yorktown, VA 23692 The Grafton Clippers basketball team (Yorktown, VA), was overwhelmed 66-21 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Woodside Wolverines (Newport News, VA)
The Wolverines now possess a 16-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bethel for a Peninsula battle on Monday, February 14. Woodside will battle a Bruins team coming off a 43-36 non-league win over Churchland (Portsmouth, VA). The Bruins record now stands at 12-6.
The Clippers (18-5) will now prepare for their battle against Poquoson (Poquoson, VA). The Islanders come into the Bay Rivers battle with a 0-13 record.
