Kentucky High School Basketball - Walton-Verona trounces Henry County
February 12, 2022: Walton, KY 41094 The Walton-Verona Bearcats (Walton, KY) basketball crushed the visiting Henry County Wildcats (New Castle, KY), 92-68 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Bearcats (15-10) will now prepare for their test against Holmes (Covington, KY). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 10-15 record. In their last test, Holmes walloped Beechwood (Fort Mitchell, KY), 70-60, in a league test.
The Wildcats now own a 8-12 record. They play next when they host Spencer County for a non-league test on Monday, February 14. Henry County will encounter a Bears squad coming off a 67-32 non-league win over Eminence (Eminence, KY). The Bears record now stands at 15-7.
