New Jersey High School Basketball - Pope John XXIII topped by Wallkill Valley
February 12, 2022: Hamburg, NJ 07419 The Wallkill Valley Rangers basketball team scored 75 points and restricted the visiting Pope John XXIII to 56 in the Rangers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Rangers now sport a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Newton for a Northwest Jersey - Freedom contest on Tuesday, February 15. Wallkill Valley will battle a Braves team coming off a 44-40 non-league loss to Kinnelon (Kinnelon, NJ). The Braves record now stands at 7-10.
The (7-7) will now prepare for their contest against Randolph (Randolph, NJ). The Rams come into the non-league contest with a 11-7 record. In their last contest, Randolph prevailed over Morris Knolls (Rockaway, NJ), 54-39, in a non-league contest.
