New Jersey High School Basketball - Vernon nudges West Milford
February 12, 2022: Vernon, NJ 07462 Vernon Vikings (Vernon, NJ) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting West Milford Highlanders (West Milford, NJ), 54-47 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Vernon upgrades its record to 10-10 on the season. The Vikings travel to Morris County Tech (Denville, NJ) to clash with the Devils in a Northwest Jersey - Colonial bout on Tuesday, February 15. The Devils go into the bout with a record of 2-18. Morris County Tech lost 75-56 in their recent non-league bout against Boonton (Boonton, NJ)
Next up, the Highlanders clash with the Lakeland Regional Lancers (Wanaque, NJ) in a Big North - Independence bout, on Tuesday, February 15. West Milford will attempt to upgrade on its 2-15 season record.
