February 12, 2022: Mountain Lakes, NJ 07046 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Mountain Lakes Lakers (Mountain Lakes, NJ) and the visiting Lenape Valley Patriots (Stanhope, NJ), saw Mountain Lakes's basketball squad hold off Lenape Valley by a tally of 41-35.
With the victory, Mountain Lakes improves its record to 8-7 on the campaign. The Lakers travel to Dover (Dover, NJ) to play the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 15. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 1-14. Dover lost 68-23 in their recent non-league challenge against Wallkill Valley (Hamburg, NJ)
Next up, the Patriots play the Academy of St. Elizabeth Panthers (Convent Station, NJ) in a Northwest Jersey - Independence challenge, on Monday, February 14. Lenape Valley will attempt to improve on its 5-10 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 3-15 record after their 76-23 league loss to Morris Catholic (Denville, NJ).
