Tennessee High School Basketball - Alcoa tops Harriman
February 12, 2024: Alcoa, TN 37701 Alcoa Tornadoes (Alcoa, TN) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Harriman Blue Devils (Harriman, TN), 74-55 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Alcoa upgrades its record to 12-9 on the campaign. The Tornadoes travel to Oak Ridge (Oak Ridge, TN) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 19-6. Oak Ridge lost 58-56 in their recent non-league bout against Fulton (Knoxville, TN)
Next up, the Blue Devils play the Greenback Cherokees (Greenback, TN) in a 1A District 4 bout, on Tuesday, February 13. Harriman will attempt to upgrade on its 23-2 season record. The Cherokees come into the bout with a 1-20 record after their 75-47 league loss to Harriman (Harriman, TN).
