Maryland High School Basketball - Arundel tipped by Leonardtown

The Leonardtown Raiders basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Arundel Wildcats to 60 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Monday.

The Raiders now sport a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Calvert for a Southern Maryland contest on Wednesday, February 14. Leonardtown will meet a Cavaliers team coming off a 66-33 league loss to Chopticon (Morganza, MD). The Cavaliers record now stands at 2-19.

The Wildcats (17-4) will now prepare for their contest against Chesapeake Science Point (Hanover, MD). The enter the Anne Arundel County contest with a 5-13 record. In their last contest, Chesapeake Science Point nudged North County (Glen Burnie, MD), 56-52, in a league contest.
