Michigan High School Basketball - Edwardsburg nips St. Joseph
February 12, 2024: St. Joseph, MI 49085 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Edwardsburg Eddies (Edwardsburg, MI) and the host St. Joseph Bears (St. Joseph, MI), saw Edwardsburg's basketball squad hold off St. Joseph by a count of 66-59.
With the victory, Edwardsburg upgrades its record to 10-6 on the campaign. The Eddies host Sturgis (Sturgis, MI) to play the Trojans in a Wolverine B challenge on Tuesday, February 13. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 2-14. Sturgis lost 58-17 in their recent league challenge against Niles (Niles, MI)
Next up, the Bears play the Portage Northern Huskies (Portage, MI) in a Southwestern Michigan - West challenge, on Friday, February 16. St. Joseph will attempt to upgrade on its 6-11 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 11-9 record after their 71-45 league loss to Lakeshore (Stevensville, MI).
