February 12, 2024: London, KY 40741 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the North Laurel Jaguars (London, KY) and the visiting Middlesboro Yellowjackets (Middlesboro, KY), saw North Laurel's basketball squad knock off Middlesboro by a count of 65-53.
With the victory, North Laurel upgrades its record to 13-13 on the campaign. The Jaguars host Madison Southern (Berea, KY) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 13. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 14-8. Madison Southern won 66-62 in their recent non-league challenge against Somerset (Somerset, KY)
Next up, the Yellowjackets play the Model Patriots (Richmond, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 15. Middlesboro will attempt to upgrade on its 8-16 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 10-16 record after their 72-51 non-league loss to East Jessamine (Nicholasville, KY).
