Connecticut High School Basketball - Warde nips Norwalk
February 12, 2024: Norwalk, CT 06851 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Warde Mustangs (Fairfield, CT) and the host Norwalk Bears (Norwalk, CT), saw Warde's basketball squad hold off Norwalk by a tally of 76-70.
With the victory, Warde improves its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Stamford (Stamford, CT) to play the Black Knights in a Fairfield County challenge on Wednesday, February 14. The Black Knights come into the challenge with a record of 13-4. Stamford won 67-45 in their recent league challenge against Ludlowe (Fairfield, CT)
Next up, the Bears play the Greenwich Cardinals (Greenwich, CT) in a Fairfield County challenge, on Wednesday, February 14. Norwalk will attempt to improve on its 8-9 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 4-11 record after their 51-43 league loss to Ridgefield (Ridgefield, CT).
