Illinois High School Basketball - Taft holds off Highland Park

Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Taft Eagles (Chicago, IL) and the host Highland Park Giants (Highland Park, IL), saw Taft's basketball squad hold off Highland Park by a tally of 48-45.

With the victory, Taft improves its record to 18-12 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Loyola Academy (Wilmette, IL) to confront the Ramblers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 15. The Ramblers come into the challenge with a record of 32-0. Loyola Academy won 80-12 in their recent non-league test against Lincoln Park (Chicago, IL)

The Giants now own a 14-11 record.
