Ohio High School Basketball - West Jefferson nips Catholic Central

In Wednesday's league contest, the visiting West Jefferson Roughriders basketball team scored a close 66-60 win over the Catholic Central Irish.

The Roughriders (10-11) will now prepare for their contest against Northeastern (Springfield, OH). The Jets come into the Ohio Heritage contest with a 9-12 record. In their last contest, Northeastern was tipped by Northwestern (Springfield, OH), 76-73, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Irish battle the Cedarville Indians (Cedarville, OH) in a Ohio Heritage contest, on Friday, February 14. Catholic Central will attempt to better on its 14-7 season record. The Indians come into the contest with a 13-8 record after their 58-40 non-league loss to Fairfield (Leesburg, OH).
