February 12, 2025: LaPlace, LA 70068 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the St. Charles Catholic Comets (LaPlace, LA) and the visiting Episcopal Knights (Baton Rouge, LA), observed St. Charles Catholic's basketball team overwhelm Episcopal by a score of 60-34.
The Comets (21-18) will now prepare for their challenge against Willow (New Orleans, LA). The Lions come into the 4A District 9 challenge with a 13-15 record. In their last challenge, Willow was routed by St. Charles Catholic (LaPlace, LA), 49-43, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Knights encounter the Capitol Lions (Baton Rouge, LA) in a 2A District 8 challenge, on Thursday, February 13. Episcopal will attempt to improve on its 15-24 season record.
