Vermont High School Basketball - Springfield bests Long Trail
February 12, 2025: Springfield, VT 05156 The Springfield Cosmos basketball team scored 68 points and limited the visiting Long Trail to 56 in the Cosmos non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Cosmos now possess a 8-8 record. They play next when they host Mount Anthony for a non-league game on Friday, February 14. Springfield will play a Patriots team coming off a 68-59 league loss to Brattleboro (Brattleboro, VT). The Patriots record now stands at 1-15.
With the loss, Long Trail falls to 4-11 on the campaign. The travel to Sharon Academy (Sharon, VT) to play the Phoenix in a Southern Vermont - D game on Saturday, February 15. The Phoenix go into the game with a record of 0-16. Sharon Academy lost 61-37 in their recent league game against Arlington Memorial (Arlington, VT)
