February 12, 2025: Wichita Falls, TX 76310 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Memorial Mavericks (Wichita Falls, TX) and the visiting Windthorst Trojans (Windthorst, TX), observed Memorial's basketball team knock off Windthorst by a score of 61-42.
The Mavericks (14-19) will now prepare for their challenge against Palo Duro (Amarillo, TX). The Dons come into the non-league challenge with a 27-5 record. In their last challenge, Palo Duro prevailed over Lubbock-Cooper (Lubbock, TX), 62-59, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Trojans encounter the Anson Tigers (Anson, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 17. Windthorst will attempt to improve on its 19-10 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 13-12 record after their 51-33 non-league win over Haskell (Haskell, TX).
