Massachusetts High School Basketball - Nipmuc Regional can't get by Worcester Tech
February 12, 2025: Upton, MA 01568 Worcester Tech Eagles (Worcester, MA) supporters left the game happy Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Nipmuc Regional Warriors (Upton, MA), 53-51 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Worcester Tech advances its record to 11-6 on the year. The Eagles host Blackstone Valley RVT (Upton, MA) to meet the Beavers in a Colonial match on Friday, February 14. The Beavers enter the match with a record of 5-13. Blackstone Valley RVT won 58-55 in their recent league match against Keefe Tech (Framingham, MA)
The Warriors now own a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tantasqua Regional for a non-league match on Saturday, February 15. Nipmuc Regional will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 59-52 non-league loss to Holyoke (Holyoke, MA). The Warriors record now stands at 13-5.
