February 12, 2026: Bishop, TX 78343 The Weslaco Panthers (Weslaco, TX) softball routed the host Bishop Badgers (Bishop, TX), 8-3 in Thursday's non-league outing.
The Panthers now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Liberty for a non-league test on Friday, February 13. Weslaco will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 11-0 non-league loss to Barbers Hill (Mt. Belvieu, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 0-1.
The Badgers (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Sinton (Sinton, TX). The Pirates go into the non-league test with a 2-0 record. In their last outing, Sinton got by Lyford (Lyford, TX), 9-1, in a non-league outing.
