February 13, 2023: Spring Lake Park, MN 55432 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Columbia Heights Hylanders (Columbia Heights, MN) and the host Spring Lake Park Panthers (Spring Lake Park, MN), saw Columbia Heights's basketball squad hold off Spring Lake Park by a count of 86-80.
With the victory, Columbia Heights upgrades its record to 11-10 on the campaign. The Hylanders travel to DeLaSalle (Minneapolis, MN) to play the Islanders in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 17. The Islanders come into the challenge with a record of 18-3. DeLaSalle won 90-74 in their recent non-league challenge against Brooklyn Center/Parnassus Prep (Brooklyn Center, MN)
Next up, the Panthers play the Blaine Bengals (Blaine, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, February 15. Spring Lake Park will attempt to upgrade on its 6-14 season record. The Bengals come into the challenge with a 13-7 record after their 79-62 league loss to Duluth East (Duluth, MN).
