New York High School Basketball - Oneida thwarts Phoenix
February 13, 2023: Phoenix, NY 13135 The Oneida Indians (Oneida, NY) basketball knocked off the host Phoenix Firebirds (Phoenix, NY), 62-54 in Monday's non-league test.
The Indians (6-13) will now prepare for their test against Vernon-Verona-Sherrill (Verona, NY). The Red Devils go into the Section 3 Tri-Valley - Pioneer test with a 5-14 record. In their last test, Vernon-Verona-Sherrill notched a victory over Camden (Camden, NY), 71-62, in a league test.
The Firebirds now own a 10-10 record.
