North Carolina High School Basketball - Shelby crushes Thomas Jefferson
February 13, 2023: Shelby, NC 28152 Shelby Golden Lions (Shelby, NC) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Thomas Jefferson Gryphons (Mooresboro, NC), 70-44 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Shelby upgrades its record to 17-6 on the season. The Golden Lions host Bessemer City (Bessemer City, NC) to play the Yellow Jackets in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 15. The Yellow Jackets go into the bout with a record of 16-7. Bessemer City won 83-48 in their recent league bout against Highland Tech (Gastonia, NC)
