Wisconsin High School Basketball - Altoona holds off Medford
February 13, 2024: Medford, WI 54451 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Altoona Railroaders (Altoona, WI) and the host Medford Raiders (Medford, WI), saw Altoona's basketball squad hold off Medford by a tally of 75-71.
With the victory, Altoona improves its record to 10-11 on the campaign. The Railroaders host Amery (Amery, WI) to confront the Warriors in a Middle Border challenge on Thursday, February 15. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 9-12. Amery won 88-46 in their recent non-league challenge against Webster (Webster, WI)
Next up, the Raiders confront the Tomahawk Hatchets (Tomahawk, WI) in a Great Northern challenge, on Friday, February 16. Medford will attempt to improve on its 10-11 season record. The Hatchets come into the challenge with a 0-20 record after their 68-27 non-league loss to Phillips (Phillips, WI).
