February 13, 2024: Pittsville, WI 54466 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Athens Bluejays (Athens, WI) and the host Pittsville Panthers (Pittsville, WI), saw Athens's basketball squad hold off Pittsville by a tally of 51-48.
With the victory, Athens improves its record to 8-13 on the campaign. The Bluejays host Chequamegon (Park Falls, WI) to confront the Screaming Eagles in a Marawood - North challenge on Friday, February 16. The Screaming Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 3-18. Chequamegon lost 53-42 in their recent non-league challenge against Washburn (Washburn, WI)
Next up, the Panthers confront the Port Edwards Blackhawks (Port Edwards, WI) in a Central Wisconsin - South challenge, on Friday, February 16.
