Iowa High School Basketball - Humboldt tipped by Gilbert
February 13, 2024: Gilbert, IA 50105 The Gilbert Tigers basketball team scored 82 points and held the visiting Humboldt Wildcats to 76 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Tigers now sport a 11-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Saydel for a non-league contest on Monday, February 19. Gilbert will meet a Eagles team coming off a 52-48 non-league win over Carlisle (Carlisle, IA). The Eagles record now stands at 13-8.
The Wildcats (16-5) will now prepare for their contest against Storm Lake (Storm Lake, IA). The Tornadoes enter the non-league contest with a 11-8 record. In their last contest, Storm Lake was nudged by Sioux City East (Sioux City, IA), 77-51, in a non-league contest.
