February 13, 2024: Americus, GA 31709 The Sumter County Panthers basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the visiting Jeff Davis Yellowjackets to 34 in the Panthers non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Panthers now sport a 10-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fitzgerald for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 15. Sumter County will battle a Purple Hurricane team coming off a 48-44 league win over Cook (Adel, GA). The Purple Hurricane record now stands at 15-10.
