The South Pontotoc Cougars (Pontotoc, MS) basketball crushed the visiting Leake Central Gators (Carthage, MS), 66-37 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Cougars (21-8) will now prepare for their test against Greenwood (Greenwood, MS). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 22-5 record. In their last test, Greenwood walloped Tishomingo County (Iuka, MS), 51-32, in a non-league test.

The Gators now own a 11-16 record.
