Missouri High School Basketball - Mark Twain knocked off by North Callaway
February 13, 2024: Center, MO 63436 The North Callaway Thunderbirds basketball team scored 68 points and held the host Mark Twain Tigers to 55 in the Thunderbirds league triumph on Tuesday.
The Thunderbirds now sport a 8-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bowling Green for a Eastern Missouri contest on Thursday, February 15. North Callaway will battle a Bobcats team coming off a 61-32 league win over Wellsville-Middletown (Wellsville, MO). The Bobcats record now stands at 7-13.
The Tigers (3-19) will now prepare for their contest against Clark County (Kahoka, MO). The Indians enter the non-league contest with a 5-15 record. In their last contest, Clark County was defeated by South Shelby (Shelbina, MO), 56-36, in a league contest.
