The Mustangs now possess a 13-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central DeWitt for a non-league battle on Monday, February 19. Mt. Vernon will battle a team coming off a 70-64 non-league win over Clinton (Clinton, IA). The record now stands at 10-13.
The Demons (6-13) will now prepare for their battle against Solon (Solon, IA). The Spartans come into the non-league battle with a 20-1 record. In their last battle, Solon trounced West Delaware (Manchester, IA), 64-39, in a league battle.
