North Carolina High School Basketball - West Cabarrus nipped by Palisades

The Palisades Pumas tipped the host West Cabarrus Wolverines basketball team by a final score of 64-59 in Tuesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Pumas face the Ardrey Kell Knights (Charlotte, NC) in a 4A South Meck game, on Friday, February 16. Palisades will attempt to move on its 14-9 season record. The Knights enter the game with a 16-7 record after their 76-42 league win over Olympic (Charlotte, NC).

With the defeat, West Cabarrus moves to 10-13 on the year. The Wolverines host Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC) to face the Ragin' Bulls in a 4A Greater Metro game on Friday, February 16. The Ragin' Bulls enter the game with a record of 17-6. Hickory Ridge won 80-53 in their recent league game against Cox Mill (Concord, NC)
