Michigan High School Basketball - Alma tops Chesaning
February 13, 2024: Chesaning, MI 48616 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Alma Panthers (Alma, MI) and the host Chesaning Indians (Chesaning, MI), saw Alma's basketball squad knock off Chesaning by a count of 53-36.
With the victory, Alma upgrades its record to 14-4 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Frankenmuth (Frankenmuth, MI) to play the Eagles in a Tri-Valley - East challenge on Friday, February 16. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 15-2. Frankenmuth won 64-12 in their recent league challenge against Glenn (Bay City, MI)
Next up, the Indians play the Byron Eagles (Byron, MI) in a Mid-Michigan challenge, on Friday, February 16. Chesaning will attempt to upgrade on its 3-12 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 3-14 record after their 65-13 league loss to Ovid-Elsie (Elsie, MI).
