Wisconsin High School Basketball - Appleton East holds off Bay Port
February 13, 2024: Appleton, WI 54915 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Appleton East Patriots (Appleton, WI) and the visiting Bay Port Pirates (Green Bay, WI), saw Appleton East's basketball squad hold off Bay Port by a tally of 48-44.
With the victory, Appleton East improves its record to 15-8 on the campaign. The Patriots host Appleton North (Appleton, WI) to confront the Lightning in a Fox Valley challenge on Friday, February 16. The Lightning come into the challenge with a record of 12-12. Appleton North won 49-39 in their recent league challenge against Kaukauna (Kaukauna, WI)
Next up, the Pirates confront the Sheboygan North Golden Raiders (Sheboygan, WI) in a Fox River Classic challenge, on Thursday, February 15. Bay Port will attempt to improve on its 6-17 season record. The Golden Raiders come into the challenge with a 5-18 record after their 75-39 league loss to De Pere (De Pere, WI).
