Arkansas High School Basketball - Lake Hamilton holds off Benton
February 13, 2024: Benton, AR 72015 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Lake Hamilton Wolves (Pearcy, AR) and the host Benton Panthers (Benton, AR), saw Lake Hamilton's basketball squad hold off Benton by a tally of 45-40.
With the victory, Lake Hamilton improves its record to 19-7 on the campaign. The Wolves host El Dorado (El Dorado, AR) to confront the Wildcats in a 5A South challenge on Friday, February 16. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 8-16. El Dorado lost 64-48 in their recent league challenge against Lakeside (Hot Springs, AR)
Next up, the Panthers confront the Sheridan Yellowjackets (Sheridan, AR) in a 5A South challenge, on Friday, February 16. Benton will attempt to improve on its 16-8 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a 17-9 record after their 52-48 league win over White Hall (White Hall, AR).
